Kelly Downs serves as the Director of Human Resources for all 68 Ventures companies and affiliates, providing support and engagement with all aspects of Human Resources.

Prior to joining 68 Ventures, Kelly spent 23 years at a regional bank holding company in Illinois where she served as Director of Human Resources for over 18 years. In that role, she managed all aspects of human resources including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training and benefit administration, employee relations, 401(k) administration, etc. Upon moving to Alabama, Kelly accepted a position in Human Resources at SH Enterprises, Inc. / Meyer Vacation Rentals, a Property Management and Real Estate company in Gulf Shores and later assumed the role of Director of Human Resources.

Kelly and her husband, Dan, are natives of Illinois and enjoy spending time at the beach and on the golf course. They take every opportunity to visit their three children and grandchildren.
